“For it is in giving that we receive.” – St. Francis of Assisi

For more than 40 years, Madonna Manor has provided long and short-term care to residents and their families with a focus on the core values of reverence, integrity, compassion, and excellence. With the philanthropic support of our donors, we are able to enhance the excellent care at Madonna Manor and support initiatives that might not otherwise be available.

As a 501 (c)(3) organization, Madonna Manor has made the commitment to provide the highest level of physical and spiritual care to all of our residents for as long as they need us, even if they have outlived their resources. Your charitable gifts help support residents on our campus who may require financial assistance. So you can see why your support is so important to our mission.

To continue to enhance our mission, we accept donations from individuals, corporations, and organizations who have an interest in seeing us continue our service to the residents, their families and the greater community. Contributions to Madonna Manor may be sent us at:

2344 Amsterdam Road
Villa Hills, Kentucky 41017

Besides outright cash gifts, there are many other ways to give to Madonna Manor:

Ways To Give

Cash

The most popular and easiest way to make a gift to Madonna Manor is by cash or check. When paying by check, please make check payable to Madonna Manor.

Securities

Ownership of stocks and/or bonds can be transferred to Madonna Manor as a charitable gift. The value of your gift depends upon the market price of these assets when they are given. You may be entitled to a significant charitable deduction on your income tax return for a gift of appreciated securities.

Planned Gifts

Making a planned gift to Madonna Manor is a great way to ensure income for you and your beneficiary, achieve tax benefits and help make certain that quality care is available to our residents and their families for the future. Some examples of planned gifts include:

  • Bequest– Making a provision in your will or living trust of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate will benefit Madonna Manor. A charitable bequest allows you to keep control of your assets during your lifetime and make a gift to Madonna Manor at the same time while receiving a reduction in estate taxes . To ensure compliance with your wishes and to receive current recognition for your bequest gift, it is important to document your gift with us.
  • Life Insurance – A gift of life insurance often allows you to provide a more substantial gift in the future than you might think possible. Madonna Manor could be the beneficiary of a paid-up/existing policy or a newly purchased policy. You receive a charitable deduction for the cash value of the policy and a deduction for the premiums going forward.
  • Retirement Plan Assets – IRAs, 401(k)s and other retirement benefits can be one of the most efficient forms of planned giving. By naming Madonna Manor as a beneficiary for a percentage or specified amount of the account, estate and income taxes on that gift can be avoided entirely.
  • Charitable Remainder Unitrusts, Annuity Trusts and Retained Life Estates – These are also mutually beneficial options for supporting Madonna Manor and achieving tax benefits. Please contact your tax advisor or Karen Tindall in our Development office for more information.

Rewarding. Satisfying. Meaningful

There is no better feeling than the satisfaction that comes with volunteering your time, knowing that you touched someone’s life.

At Madonna Manor, we offer volunteers an added benefit: the collective wisdom, experiences and love of our residents. These are people who have lived life to its fullest, and they have so much to share. So when you volunteer your time – even if it’s a few hours a month – you’ll get something in return – an unforgettable, rewarding experience that will stay with you through your entire life.

Madonna Manor volunteers support the staff in providing the highest quality of life for the residents. So we find responsibilities for you that best serve your interests and our needs. But our program also works to ensure that the experience is rewarding for you as well. We want to provide opportunities for your personal growth, skill development, and meaningful service. Special skills and talents are always welcome (and needed), but the only thing that’s truly required is the ability to smile and laugh. It’s what makes Madonna Manor home.

The following are some volunteer opportunities that may interest you.

  • Group activity assistance
  • Fundraising projects

  • Dining assistance
  • Administrative work such as filing and general office needs
