St. Leonard Celebrates Double Win: "Best of Dayton" and "Large Business of the Year"

St. Leonard, a leading senior living community in Centerville, is celebrating a double victory, having recently been recognized as "Best of Dayton" in three categories by the Dayton Daily News for the second consecutive year, and awarded "Large Business of the Year" by the City of Centerville.

For the second year running, St. Leonard earned first place for Best Assisted Living Facility and Best Independent Living in the Dayton Daily News' "Best of Dayton" awards. This year, they also secured the top spot for Best Memory Care, a category introduced for the first time in 2025. St. Leonard was also a finalist for Best Nursing Home.

“We are especially honored to receive the 'Best Memory Care' award in its inaugural year. This recognition underscores our dedication to providing specialized, compassionate care for individuals living with memory loss,” said Tim Dressman, Executive Director at St. Leonard. “Our team is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where residents with memory impairments can maintain their dignity and quality of life.”

In addition to the "Best of Dayton" accolades, St. Leonard was honored as "Large Business of the Year" at the City of Centerville Mayor's Business Breakfast in May. Mayor Brooks Compton recognized St. Leonard for its invaluable community partnership, particularly for hosting the city's summer events on the St. Leonard campus during the Stubbs Park renovations in 2024. Mayor Compton praised St. Leonard for its exceptional generosity, steadfast partnership, and ongoing support of the Centerville community.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our residents, dedicated staff, and the wonderful surrounding community for this recognition. Thank you to everyone that voted! We are committed to providing the very best in senior living,” said Kelly Lance, Director of Community Relations at St. Leonard.
