Prentice O. Lipsey became President and CEO on January 1, 2022. His tenure with CHI Living Communities includes serving as Interim President, Senior Vice President of Operations and Director of Professional Development.
Additionally, he was Executive Director of its largest campus—St. Leonard, in the Dayton, Ohio area, during which time the campus earned the reputation as the No. 1 post-acute care provider by Kettering Health System, voted Best of Dayton in 2015 and 2016, and had the lowest employee turnover rate among all of its senior living campuses.
Along with being part of CHI Living Communities’ ministry for five years, Prentice has been a senior health care administrator for nearly 20 years, including at Wexner Heritage Village, Kindred Gateway Hospital-Stratford and UC Health Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care. He began his career in health care as a pharmacy and lab technician.
A fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the National Association of Health Service Executives for over 20 years, Prentice also serves on the American Health Association’s Post-Acute Care Committee. Further, his servant leadership has included numerous positions with the Association of Philanthropic Homes for the Aged.
Prentice earned a Bachelor of Science degree in allied health professions from Ohio State University and a Master’s in Health Administration from Xavier University. Additionally, he holds a post-graduate degree specialization in change management from Cornell University, and has published articles and presented on best practice topics in senior living services.
