Joan Longhin Howard
Vice President, Human Resources
Joan has served CHI Living Communities for more than 15 years and has 30 years of experience in human resources, finance, and administration in long-term care.
She has been instrumental in integrating HR initiatives into our strategic plan, and oversees compensation, employee relations, health and welfare, development and learning, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Joan earned degrees in human resources management and business administration from the University of Dayton and Edison Community College. She also holds senior certifications from SHRM and SPHR. Further, she is a member of the national and local chapters of SHRM and serves on the HR Committee of OHCA.
