Linus Oakes has an exciting new opportunity for a Painter/Maintenance Technician.

The painter/maintenance tech paints exterior and interior walls using different sizes and types of ladders. This position requires being able to work independently when assigned a job, stand for long periods when needed, and work at a fast pace when time is a factor. This position will also perform some work as a maintenance technician.

Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities

  •  Paints exterior and interior walls and ceilings of buildings, homes, apartments, and other items throughout the campus.
  •  Finishes drywall walls and ceiling before painting if needed.
  •  Safely uses and properly cleans and services a paint gun.
  •  Cleans up areas after painting is complete.
  •  Works other trades as needed.
  •  Completes safety and other relevant courses in Learning Management System.
  •  Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
  •  Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
  •  Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
  •  Completes yearly online education program by deadline.
  •  Attends employee meetings on a regular basis.

Furthermore, every employee must abide by all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.

Job Requirements

Experience: At least two (2) years of painting experience.

Attendance: Regular attendance is an essential part of this job.
