Description

Linus Oakes has an exciting new opportunity for Transportation Driver. This position will be Monday - Friday, day shift.

The Transportation Driver is responsible for providing scheduled and special transportation to all residents in a safe, comfortable, and timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for transporting residents.
  • Maintains all vehicles in department.
  • Interacts effectively within multi-disciplinary team.
  • Satisfies all educational in-service requirements that are mandated by the Department, the facility, and external accrediting and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge and complies with policies and procedures of infection control, OSHA, safety, resident rights, and federal and state laws and regulations.
     

In addition to the essential job specific duties listed above, the Transportation Driver shall be required to perform all duties (essential and non-essential) in a manner consistent with the mission and values (compassion, excellence, inclusion, integrity, collaboration) of CHI Living Communities and will be evaluated on such basis. Furthermore, every employee must abide by all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Safe Driving Record required
  • Passport, CPR Certification, and Defensive Driving Courses preferred
