St. Clare Commons opened its faith-based state of the art campus in Perrysburg, Ohio in 2013 and continues expanding its ministry. As our campus continues to grow, we currently have an opportunity for a Laundry Aide who has a genuine passion for caring for our elders.

Job Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is motivated and dedicated with a friendly attitude. Detail oriented and cleanly.

Demonstrates the proper operation of laundry equipment and use of laundry supplies in a safe and efficient manner.

• Maintains all residents' clothing in good repair and appearance as well as sorting and delivering laundry to resident care areas.
• Ensures that residents' personal clothing is marked with their name.
• Refers residents' clothing needs to the Resident/Family Services Coordinator, recommending clothing appropriate to each resident's age and condition.
• Performs job in a safe manner, using proper body mechanics; follows facility procedures regarding injury on the job. Responsible for proper care of all equipment, supplies and financial assets involved in the performance of the job.
