Job Responsibilities:

The night shift reception/custodian position involves cleaning and sanitizing common areas, custodial duties and building and resident safety and security.

  •  Cleans and sanitizes common areas in Oak and Laurelwood Lodges, including lobbies, restrooms, mailroom, hallways and stairs.
  •  Performs custodial duties in Oak and Laurelwood Lodges, such as light bulb replacement, carpet cleaning, trash removal, emergency water     clean-up and plunging toilets.
  •  Maintains building safety and security by locking both lodges and conducting routine rounds.
  •  Being available for emergency calls from the alarm system and/or residents.

In addition to the essential job specific duties listed above, the Night Shift – Reception/Custodian shall be required to perform all duties (essential and non-essential) in a manner consistent with the mission and values (compassion, excellence, inclusion, integrity, collaboration) of CHI Living Communities and will be evaluated on such basis. Furthermore, every employee must abide by all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.

Job Requirements

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience
Previous custodial experience preferred

Must have a vaild Oregon drivers license.

Ability to work the following schedule -

Sunday/Monday/Tuesday – 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Wednesday/Thursday – 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Friday/Saturday – 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
