Ja’Nay Crippen-Derry

Vice President, Clinical Operations

Ja’Nay oversees our clinical support team to ensure our campuses continually improve their CMS 5-Star ratings, with the goal of providing exceptional care for residents. She previously was a quality and risk management consultant for ProMedica, a nurse consultant at LeaderStat and 360 Healthcare Staffing, and a divisional nurse consultant for CareVirginia. She also has held several leadership and bedside nursing positions in both acute- and long-term care.

Ja’Nay earned a doctoral degree in health care administration in 2020, a master’s in nursing administration and a bachelor’s in nursing from Capella University.

Further, she is a CDC-certified infection control preventionist, and holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Vohra Wound certification. Ja’Nay also is an adjunct professor in nursing and other health care-related courses at Bryant & Stratton College.
